Adam Wilson
(he/him) has formerly been a forklift driver, a café-chain barista, a bookseller in one of Canada's last independent bookstores, a shipping clerk, the late night cashier at a fast-casual sandwich shop, a data entry clerk for a university research project, a high school dropout, and a college dropout. He received the Lawrence Ferlinghetti Fellowship from University of San Francisco where he completed his MFA in poetry while sorting packages in the university's mailroom.Read Adam's most recent chapbook, 'The Instructions'Adam's writing concerns itself with looking for the sacred in the mundane, the miracles in the quotidian, staring out the windows of the bus, examining the inner lives of flowers, the feeling of being lost on big hills, and how it feels to get found. He has extensive experience as a small press publisher, an editor of anthologies of various kinds of writing, a host of poetry readings and literary events, and can still drive a forklift (probably).Born in western Canada, he currently lives in San Francisco overlooking Ocean Beach and can often be found watching the sun set into the ocean while mixing cocktails. He is set to complete an MA in Literature at San Francisco State University in 2028.More info can be found here.
